Artists Working for Artists in British Columbia, Canada

BC Gallery Catalogue Panel

We recently had the pleasure of hosting a discussion panel about the launch of our new BC Gallery Catalogue. Hosted by Sidi Chen, this panel included a range of BC arts practitioners that have been involved in the Catalogues development and organizations included. The discussion was recorded and can be viewed below.

The BC Gallery Catalogue Project intends to provide information to artists and the general public about a spectrum of visual arts organizations, including arts councils, virtual or online artist collectives, artist run centres, public and commercial galleries, presentation spaces, museums, and Indigenous cultural organizations.

Through this project we’ve collaborated with dozens of Arts, Culture, and other Non-Profit organizations in creating an interactive map featuring all the places around the province that offer various opportunities for artists at all stages of their career. It is an ongoing project and any organizations wishing to join can find more information here.

Organizations part of the map are encouraged to contact us for any feedback, questions, or to request information changes at bc@carfac.ca
