Artists Working for Artists in British Columbia, Canada

Upcoming Coffee Break Sessions: New Topics Added

Some interesting topics added to the schedule for the upcoming coffee break sessions!

May 18 – Discussion: Do artists need to support each other, or can they work independently without support from other artists? This will be a jumping off point to discuss how artists are supporting each other, or, if not, what do you need as an artist? In this session, I will be asking everyone to contribute an answer or an insight into this topic. Think about how you have been supported, if at all. Please give this some thought so we can have a generative discussion.

May 25 – Elizabeth Shefrin, social practice, textiles, comics, http://www.stitchingforsocialchange.ca/home.htm

June 1 – Barbara Heller, weaving, tapestry, https://www.barbaraheller.ca/

As usual, they will all be moderated by our lovely @laurabucci, and while we encourage our members to join, these are free to join for all BC artists!
