Artists Working for Artists in British Columbia, Canada

Artist Toolkits Now Available!

Those of us who have chosen a career path in the arts often depend on our learned experience within the sector to navigate the business of art-making, rather than being informed by any existing standards for our industry.

CARFAC BC is happy to announce that our collection of Artist Toolkits are now available to offer knowledge, resource, and insight in supporting artists and art organizations. Whether it be career development, recommendations for best practice, navigating copyright, or advice on application practices, these toolkits support artists in strengthening professional relationships, establishing an arts career, and developing their professional practice. We also have sections for arts organizations, non-profits, and local government that will support facilitation in ethical interactions and equitable dealings between artists and those who engage with their work or services.

These documents are a collection of toolkits split into the categories of:

  • Emerging Artists and New Graduates
  • Professional Artists
  • Public Art Galleries & Arts Organizations
  • Local Government

For more information and to access the Artist Toolkits, visit our toolkits page here!
